Our products are made with coconut-based waxes, plant based phthalate-free fragrances with essential oil, and traditional techniques. What type of wax do you use?

At Shores Company, all of our candles are hand-poured using an all-natural wax blend that is predominantly coconut wax, complemented by a proprietary blend of natural waxes.We do not use additives, pesticides, parabens, or unnecessary fillers. Our clean wax formulation allows fragrance to burn cooler, cleaner, and longer — preserving the integrity of each scent while creating a refined, consistent burn.

Every candle, perfume, skincare product is thoughtfully hand-poured in the United States.

Are your fragrances phthalate-free?

Yes. All Shores Company fragrances are phthalate-free.

Phthalates are commonly used in mass-market fragrances, but we choose not to compromise on quality or safety. Our fragrance formulations are developed with clean, carefully selected ingredients to ensure a healthier and more eco-conscious experience.

What is Monoi de Tahiti oil, and why is it sometimes solid?

Our Perfumeria Oils are crafted using 100% Monoi de Tahiti oil, made from refined coconut oil infused with hand-picked Tahitian tiare flowers.

The flowers are harvested at a very specific stage — just before blooming — and immediately placed into coconut oil for a minimum of 15 days. This traditional infusion process, known as enfleurage, has been practiced for over 2,000 years and preserves the delicate essence of the flower.

Because Monoi oil is coconut oil in its purest form, it naturally solidifies at temperatures below approximately 68°F. If your oil becomes solid, simply place the bottle in warm water or indirect sunlight until it liquefies.

This is a natural characteristic — and a sign of purity.

What is your return policy?

Shores Company products are made using natural materials and handcrafted processes. Due to this, slight variations and organic imperfections may occur and are considered part of the product’s character.

At this time, we do not offer refunds. We do offer exchanges on non-sale items.
